Connecting your Business Terminal

How to pair your Business Terminal with your Sync™ app

When your Business Terminal arrives you will need to connect it to WiFi and then pair it with your Sync™ Account via the Sync™ app on your phone.

Watch the video here or follow the steps below to set up your Business Terminal.

  1. First open the Sync™ app on your phone and tap the “My devices” tile on the home screen

2. Tap “Connect my business terminal” and turn on your Business Terminal device – to do this simply press and hold Power button on the side of the device for 2-3 seconds.

3. Type in a name for your device – this is to help you identify the device if you have multiple devices, for example, it may be the location of the device.

4. Type in the pairing code for your device – this will show on the Business Terminal device when its turned on and consist of three random words.

5. In the Sync™ app on your phone, tap “Connect“.

Your Business Terminal is now paired with your Sync™ Account and is ready to use. You can put your phone aside and now take payments with just the Business Terminal.

Pairing code not showing? #

To generate a new pairing code, please follow the steps below:

1) On the Business Terminal launch screen, tap the cog icon in top right to open the Settings screen

3) Select ‘Generate pairing code’

4) Entering the pairing code into the Sync™ app

OR

1) On the Business Terminal, go to the ‘More’ tab (4th icon at the bottom)

2) Select the ‘Device Settings’ and enter the PIN 07139

3) Select ‘Generate pairing code’

4) After entering the pairing code into the Sync™ app, the Business Terminal will need to be restarted
