An overview of the different ways to take payments with Sync™
With Sync™, you get faster, cheaper transactions however your customers choose to pay. Below is an overview of the different payment methods:

1) Tap to Pay payments #
Use your smartphone like a card reader and take contactless payments without additional hardware. NFC capability required.
Note: While Discover and Diners Club cards are supported on a range of devices, Tap to Pay with these cards is only available on iPhone.
2) Card Reader payments #
Our compact Bluetooth card reader for taking payments on the move. Customers can pay via contactless, Chip & PIN, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Please be sure to always see the green ‘payment successful’ screen in the Sync™ app before the customer leaves.
3) Business Terminal payments #
Our standalone, WiFi-based, Point of Sale device for taking payments in store. Customers can pay via contactless, Chip & PIN, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
4) Payment Links #
Create a unique payment link and share it via text, email, or social media so your customer can pay by card from anywhere. Options to create one-time or permanent links and for fixed or variable amounts.
5) Subscription Links #
Create a subscription payment link so your customer can pay a regular amount from anywhere. Options to take payment weekly, monthly or annually and for fixed amount.
6) QR code payments #
Display a unique QR code on your mobile phone or tablet for a customer to scan to pay with their phone.
7) Cash payments #
If a customer wishes to pay by cash, you can calculate the change required and record the cash payment in your Sync™ account. There are no fees on cash payments.
